As a person that only has
visited less than half of its own country, is natural to think that I would
like the idea of travel to other one. But, contrary to a general prospect, I would
like to travel first through my own continent before visiting places radically
distant and one of my favorite options is Mexico.
In first place, I have too
much curiosity and interest about their culture and idiosyncrasy. Specifically,
about their architecture, their celebrations, their way of dressing, etc. For
this, i think that places like Ciudad of Mexico (D.F), Guadalajara or Guanajuato look nice to start.

Other reason, more “historical”
than the first one is related around their past as the cradle of one of the
most important civilizations of America, the Aztecs and Mayans. I’ve always had
a special interest about these cultures, and visit that iconic places when they
were living would be the perfect occasion to bring together a dream of my
childhood with the anthropological interests included in the profile of my
career. For this, I think that places
like Chichen Itza or Kukulcán are ideal to continue the trip.

The last one, but not necessarily
less important, is related about their people. I’ve always had a good
perception of them; they seem very friendly, very hospitable, that kind of
people that always are able to make you smile.
